Thursday 10th February 2022; We have Martine Hamilton Knight discussing her work as an Industrial Architectural photographer; Talk will be via live streaming.
With over three decades in commercial architectural photography, Nottingham based Martine Hamilton Knight D Litt Hon, FHEA speaks about her life in the industry. Currently writing a major title on the subject for publication by Routledge in 2023, there’s also a large exhibition of her work in Nottingham this summer in conjunction with the publication by Yale University Press of the Pevsner Architectural Guide to the county.
The evening is a mixture of ‘how to’ for those interested in shooting architecture, plus a chronological section on Martine’s time in the industry together with the technological and economic factors affecting business and output throughout that period.
She also runs Line and Light Photography School (www.lineandlight.co.uk), and lectures on the MA in Commercial Photography at Nottingham Trent University so there’s a rich heritage of teaching photographers over the last decade too.
The evening is pretty informal, lively and people say they learn a lot!
