Thursday 21st July2022; We have a talk entitled “Unseen Iceland” by Leigh Woolford
Following on from my Southern Iceland talk, this presentation illustrates the diversity of landscapes in West and North of this hot, cold, beautiful, ugly, amazing island. In the West we’ll visit the Snaefellsnes Peninsular, known as ‘Iceland in Miniature’ due to its landscape diversity. In the North we’ll visit the geothermically active area around Akureyri and Lake Myvatn.
