I’ve not given a talk at a photographic society for over 10 years. Photography came to a halt in 2011 as small children and a busy job in healthcare completely took over my life. I’ve recently managed to re-engage with the hobby that brings me so much enjoyment and fulfilment. I joined Smethwick PS the 1970s when training as a Medical Student and was awarded life membership in 2007. I’ve never left the club, but living in London means that I’m usually watching lectures on line, rather than in the clubroom. I’m going to show some old images, but will focus on newer work with insights into how I construct composite images. I’m really looking forward to a return visit to speak at Smethwick and to meeting up with old friends, so many of whom have helped me over the years.
