Architectural Photography by Thomas Peck

On Thursday 5th September Smethwick PS members and guests will be treated to the works of master Architectural Photographer Thomas Peck.

Tom’s first love is landscape, from the colourful intricacies of Epping Forest, where he lives, to the wide vistas and dramatic landscapes of the American West – an area he knows particularly well. Architectural photography comes a close second however – the city creates a contrasting dynamic to the landscape. Form, structure, line, geometric shape, all become more evident than the looser compositional style that is more prevalent in the land.

He is a regular contributor to photographic journals such as Black & White Photography, onlandscape.co.uk, Frames magazine. He has completed his LRPS and CPAGB. He judges photographic competitions in the EAF. He also lectures at photographic societies and teaches photography both in the field and in post-production. He runs workshops for Quest Photography where he brings his enthusiasm, good humour and patient style to the fore with his clients.

Quest provides a wide variety of photo workshops, take a look on: www.questphoto.co.uk

By definition, these select few members will bring their own perspectives on their respective subjects and photography techniques, something to please us all for sure.
