SOME GREAT NEWS: Last Saturday 20th October we competed in the PAGB Inter Club Print Championship and we are pleased to say we won FIRST PLACE along with joint winners Arden and Chorley.
For the record Smethwick has taken first place 9 times since the competition began and we are the only club to have qualified via their Regional Federations to take part. Both records no other club has come near. The prints we used will be on display in the bar on Thursday evening 23rd October.

Weekly hands-on skills and guidance run by The Photography School.
7pm – 9.15pm
Every Monday Night we host this hands-on session provided by the Photography School.
Open to all, no pre-booking required. Pay on the night – £4 for SPS/Photo School members, £6 for non-members.
Competitions occur throughout the year at regular intervals. We have specially invited external judges to cast their eyes over the entries and give valuable feedback.. Live in the clubroom & via the web stream. Each evening starts 8pm

Thursday 15th January ‘The Expressive Landscape’ featuring Colin Westgate, presenting via Zoom directly into the clubroom & via the stream. Starts 8pm.

Although Smethwick is best enjoyed in person, we offer a high definition live stream if you prefer to attend lectures from home.
