SPS International Exhibition opens today

The 44th Smethwick International Exhibition of Photography will open its doors on Saturday, 5 January 2019 at 2pm to a sold out audience. It is the largest international exhibition of photography in the UK. More than 600 prints and 1200 projected images will be on show, with acceptances from three Print Sections (Colour, Mono, Nature) and three PDI Sections (Open Colour, Open Mono, Nature). We are looking forward to welcoming you for a truly stunning collection of images from around the world.

The exhibition is open every day until Sunday, 13th January inclusive. While tickets for the opening day are almost sold out, tickets for the remaining days are available at the door or can be booked online at http://www.smethwickps.co.uk. Costs are £3 on a weekday (evening opening) and £6 on a weekend including a set buffet tea (afternoon opening).

Weekend tickets: doors open at 2pm, PDI shows start at 3pm with a break for tea. All three PDI shows will be presented. Weekday tickets: doors open at 7pm, PDI shows start at 8pm. Two PDI shows on each weekday are scheduled as follows: 7, 8, 10 and 11 January – Open Colour, Open Mono; 9 January – Nature and Open Colour.

The exhibition is held at the Old Schoolhouse Churchbridge, Oldbury, B69 2AS, close to Junction 2 of the M5. Parking is available and we have disabled access. A fully licensed bar offers your favourite beverages at affordable prices.
