Photography with a Difference with Sue Sibley

On Thursday 30th April Smethwick Photographic Society will be welcoming Sue Sibley. As Sue is on the south coast she will be presenting via Zoom.

Sue has always had a passion for photography but concentrated on other forms of art until joining Southampton Camera Club in 2011. Where her drive saw her rapidly become their President then later the Chairman of the Southampton International Exhibition. Sue didn’t waste any time achieving firstly, her ARPS within that first year and steadily continued to work though all her other distinctions. Later joining the New Forest Camera Club she has seen continued successes.

Sue has been Judging for the SCPF for over 14 years and now for the PAGB she has a philosophy of ‘you must try it all’ to be able to have an opinion. She also feels this is a great way to meet people and keep up to date with what’s happening in the photographic world by going to as many adjudications and Championships as possible.

Sue enjoys many forms of photography especially creative, still life, nature and landscapes but wishes she had more time to do more, as we all do!

Here’s a selection of what we can expect from Sue:
