Thursday 7th May Smethwick Photographic Society will be welcoming back Malcolm Hupman. Malcolm will be live and in the club room.
Malcolm, based in Corby, Northamptonshire, has been passionate about photography since 1976.
As a registered speaker and judge with the MCPF and PAGB, he has delivered talks in person and online since 2016. He is Chairman of the Corby Photographic Club and has held several other roles. His journey began in Zambia with a second-hand Zenith B, leading to further development after returning to the UK and investing in Nikon gear and a darkroom.
Despite initial scepticism about digital photography, Malcolm embraced it a decade later, specialising in wildlife from 2010 to 2020. Today, he enjoys shooting all genres, including landscapes and macro.
Here’s a selection of what we can expect from Malcolm this time round:
This week’s talk is part of a series of FREE ‘taster’ sessions for local Sandwell community residents and workers (non SPS members or regular guests). If interested do login or better still come along to the live presentation at the clubhouse. Full details below.
